Data Deletion

How to delete your Marvis AI account and data, remove our access to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X or Google, and what we keep by law.

Last updated

You can ask OmniNexus Sdn Bhd (Company No. 202401012303 / 1558153-T) ("OmniNexus", "we", "us") to delete your Marvis AI account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, how to remove our access to the accounts you connected, and what we have to keep by law. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we hold and why.

Delete your account and data

  1. If you want to keep your content, download it from Marvis first.
  2. Cancel your plan, so you are not charged again. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how.
  3. Write to us at support@omninexus.io from the email address on your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject. If you signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple, use the email address of that account.

We may ask you to confirm the request, so that no one else can delete your account. Once you confirm, we delete your account, your brands, your content, your team's access and the access keys for your connected accounts within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

Deletion cannot be undone. If your account is part of a team, deleting it removes only your own access. To delete the team's brands and content, the account owner has to make the request.

Remove our access to your social accounts

Disconnecting an account in Marvis stops us from publishing to it. You can also remove our access on the platform itself. Each platform moves its menus from time to time, so the steps may differ slightly.

Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Apps and websites.
  3. Find Marvis AI and select Remove.

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings and activity.
  2. Open Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
  3. Find Marvis AI and select Remove.

Instagram business accounts are often connected through a Facebook Page. If Marvis AI is not listed in Instagram, remove it in Facebook as above.

LinkedIn

  1. Go to Settings, then Data privacy.
  2. Open Permitted services under Other applications.
  3. Find Marvis AI and select Remove.

X

  1. Go to Settings and privacy, then Security and account access.
  2. Open Apps and sessions, then Connected apps.
  3. Find Marvis AI and select Revoke app permissions.

Google

  1. Go to your Google Account and open Security.
  2. Under Your connections to third-party apps and services, find Marvis AI.
  3. Select Delete all connections with it.

Apple

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security.
  2. Tap Sign in with Apple and find Marvis AI.
  3. Tap Stop using Apple ID.

Removing our access on a platform stops Marvis from publishing for you, but it does not delete your Marvis account. To delete your data too, send us a request as described above.

What we keep

After deletion, we keep only what we have to:

  • invoices and payment records, for seven years, as Malaysian tax and company law requires;
  • records we need to settle a dispute, enforce our terms or respond to a legal claim, until it is resolved; and
  • totals and statistics that cannot identify you.

Copies in our backups are deleted as the backups are replaced.

Posts you have already published

Posts Marvis published for you belong to your social accounts, and we cannot delete them for you once your account is gone. Delete them on each platform before or after you close your account.

If you are one of our customers' leads

If you gave your details through a landing page made with Marvis, that business holds your data, not us. Ask the business to delete it. If you cannot reach them, write to us at support@omninexus.io with the page's address, and we will pass your request on.
